Born in 1959 in Kamensk-Uralsky, Sverdlovsk region. In 1984 he graduated from Sverdlovsk art school. Since 1979 – participant of numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad. He perceives his works as direct allusions and reminiscences of the Silver Age. Favorite Russian historical epochs and styles: Northern Renaissance, European middle ages, Russian Silver Age; Gothic, symbolism, Viennese secession, Russian, Polish and Czech art Nouveau. More than 400 works of the artist are in private collections in Russia, Germany, Sweden, Israel, England, Greece, Spain and the USA. Collaborates with galleries in Russia, the Czech Republic and Germany. Participated in film projects of the film company "February 29", Yekaterinburg: – The will of the Night, series, dir. A.
