From July 15 to August 5, the Rakov Gallery hosts a personal exhibition of the St. Petersburg artist Kirill Malkov. The exposition consists of 11 works created by the author from 2015 to 2021. The main theme of Kirill Malkov's work is Petersburg, whether it is the city or its neighborhood. Both the early and later works of the artist oppose loud Petersburg to the calm suburbs, which are united by intimacy and poetry. BIOGRAPHY Kirill Malkov is a St. Petersburg artist, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Was born in 1965 in Leningrad. In 1991 he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture named after Ilya Repin (workshop of Professor V. S. Volonsevich). Participant in the city and international exhibitions. The artist's works are in private collections in Russia, France, Germany, the USA, and other countries.
