Was born in Snezhinsk (Chelyabinsk-70) in 1972. Graduated from Sverdlovsk art school named after I. D. Shadr, Yekaterinburg and Ural branch of the Russian Academy of painting, sculpture, and architecture, Perm. He trained as an assistant at the Department of a painting of the Russian Academy of painting, sculpture, and architecture of Ilya Glazunov. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Russian Union of artists. Since 2003 Maksim worked for 11 years as Director of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of painting, sculpture, and architecture, Perm. He has the academic title of Associate Professor.
Maksim's works are held in the collections of the Erarta - museum of modern art, St. Petersburg; Perm state art gallery; Solikamsk Art Museum; Fund "New collection"; in private collections.
