The exposition includes fifteen paintings by Yuri Pervushin, most of which would be presented to viewers for the first time. The artworks reflect the artist's philosophical conceptions about the scale and existence of the Universe. Abstract, generalised landscapes coexist with carefully painted objects from everyday life. This unites the philosophical categories of microcosm and the macrocosm. Yuri Pervushin's paintings are distinguished by the style of painting, the technique and unusual colours. The artist noted that he had deliberately left his recognisable pastel palette. Although this affects the recognition of the manner, it allows the artist to develop the new direction in their work. The light colours familiar to the viewer are replaced by colour combinations, which are uncommon to Yuri Pervushin's artworks. Impressed by a trip to the Netherlands, the artist has produced a series of paintings with multi-coloured yachts. The artist's compositions with bouquets resemble flashes of bright fireworks. In these works, the artist reflects on the structure of the universe and the laws that dominate it. Closely, like under a microscope, the artist studies the objects, which surround us in everyday life. Yuri Pervushin strives to transform these everyday things and carefully conveys their textures, creating a tactile tangibility of surfaces. The artist is inspired by the beauty of Russian landscapes - he gives them a cosmic character. In these artworks, Yuri Pervushin enhances the contrast, adds dark colour spots. Pervushin's landscapes are missing people. Nevertheless, in the artist's opinion, a man always remains the centre of the Universe. The exhibition is open from 7 to 27 May. Free admission.
