Born in the town of Saransk.
Graduated from the Art College named after F.V. Sychkov, Kharkov Academy
of Design and Arts (Painting Department).

Since 2005 - Member of the Union of Artists of Russia.

The artist constantly participates in regional, all-Russian and international exhibitions and auctions.

His pieces are found in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.

Valentin Korotkov lives and works in Moscow.
