About the artist
Born in 1969, graduated in 2001 from the St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture named after Repin (workshop of V.V. Sokolov). Joined the Union of Artists of Russia in 2002. Member of the Board of the Tolyatti branch of the WTOO "Union of Artists of Russia" (Head of the section of young artists) since 2005. Was admitted to the Petrovskaya Academy of Sciences and Arts in 2011.

Laureate of the Russian Gallery XXI Century National Prize in the field of contemporary fine and decorative art, a silver medal. Participant in international, all-Russian, interregional exhibition projects in Paris, Wolfsburg, Guangzhou, Stoliv, Minsk, Uralsk, St. Petersburg, Tolyatti, Moscow, N. Novgorod, Saransk, Ufa, Samara, Cheboksary, Saratov, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and others. Of more than 300 exhibitions, 40 were personal.

Made a number of artistic trips to Germany, Norway, Tanzania, China, Egypt, Italy, Montenegro, India, Altai, Crimea, Caucasus, Ural, Karelia, Sakhalin, Russian North, and the Golden Ring of Russia. In his work, the artist focuses on the traditions of the Russian realistic school of painting, striving to convey in his works an emotional personal attitude to the chosen theme.

Igor`s works are held in museums, corporate, private collections in Russia and abroad.
